Lynn's passion for working with children

is life long. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Alberta and it was through her career as a teacher she found her calling to speech-language pathology. Lynn is married with two boys and enjoys spending her time with family and friends. She loves knitting, traveling and hiking in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains with her dog Bailey.
Lynn earned her masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Queensland, Australia in 2011. Her experience lies in evaluation, diagnoses and treatment of children with receptive and expressive speech and language delays. Specifically Lynn has treated delays in articulation and sound production, phonological processing, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Autism Spectrum Disorder inclusive of social-pragmatic skills and foundational literacy.
Through advocating for her son, Lynn has found a passion for Childhood Apraxia of Speech. To further her professional training in these areas Lynn has completed professional development courses in Orofacial Myology and Level 1 PROMPT.
Acknowledging that therapy can be a challenge for her little clients, Lynn strives to make each therapy session fun, play based and relaxing, creating a positive environment to succeed.
